4. Analysis of a crosstab

When analyzing a dataset, start by putting everything in order.

Statistics and diagrams of the individual variables give a good overview. There are also representations of two variables to determine if there is a relationship between the variables.

 

With two category variables, a cross table and different diagrams are good tools to examine coherence.

How you see whether or not there is coherence and how you measure the strength of coherence  are discussed in this chapter.
